Cathedrals on Fraser

We decided to leave our booking early. There was a group of people who thought it's great to pump bass music loud enough for majority of the park to hear. This stopped me being able to get a good sleep. After the second night of them doing it and then a tree falling, we left. Management doesn't seem to be available in the later evening hours. The amenities are average but serve the purpose, would be nice if there was a small bench in the shower cubicle and more reliable hot water as they are timed, yet the water was cold, the timer ended and I had to wait for it to reset. Also a dead tree fell in a wind storm. Thankfully it fell away from the camp sites but had it fell towards the tent, it would have had a different ending. I know the wood on K'gari is protected but I don't think that should override critical safety issues in a camp area. Fuel seems the be the cheapest on the island so that's good and making a booking was easy. Good general store and staff. Decent place if you get lucky with the other guests around and some nice weather.

Great facilities and nice staff. We were supposed to stay in Fraser for 2 nights but our car broke up so we could not leave the island until next morning. They let us stay one more night in their glamping with no charge at all! It was lovely Also this camping is protected from the dingos, so we felt safe all the time. Nice bathroom with hot water and the kitchen with fridges to keep our food in good conditions. I recommend this camping to everyone, and of course if we’re coming back to Fraser in anytime, we know where we will be staying Thank you
